Verdelab Bioscience Italy is a private independent plant pathology laboratory, authorized by the Agricultural Italian Ministry, specialized in horticultural seed health and in breeding assistance for the introduction of genetic resistance to diseases in horticultural varieties.

Our activities:

Seed health analysis, both for quality and export purposes, according to the protocols of the most important seed health organizations (EPPO, ISTA, ISHI, …), joining microbiological techniques and qPCR molecular assays
Phytopathology: diagnosis and monitoring of diseases
In vivo tests (biotest) for the most important diseases on several horticultural crops, with the possibility for the customers to make the assessment in person together with our staff and get back the survivor plants.
Molecular markers: for genetics (purity and MAS) for some horticultural crops, by HRM technology real time PCR
