Takii Europe B.V., located in De Kwakel, Netherlands, is the European base of Takii & Co. Ltd. in Japan (established in 1835). Takii Europe B.V. is an integrated seed company, engaged in breeding, production, processing and sales & marketing of a wide range of flower and vegetable varieties. The varieties are sold under the brand names, Takii Seed for the professional market and Sahin assortment for the Home Garden market.
The company focuses on both vegetable and flower seeds on a core product range. For vegetable seeds these are onions, cabbage crops, tomatoes, rootstocks and watermelons. The flower seed department focuses mainly on sunflowers (Sunrich F1 series), lisianthus, viola, pot gerbera, canna and ornamental cabbage. With a clear focus on this range Takii Europe B.V. has become a reliable partner for its international clientele.
Takii Europe B.V. has set up an international sales distribution network, consisting of distributors who are actively being supported by Takii Product Specialists. In addition, the company has set up direct sales activities in The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and England. In 2015 Takii Europe B.V. celebrated its 25th anniversary.
During “Seed Meets Technology”, Takii will show on the trial field its range of white cabbage, red cabbage, savoy cabbage, carrot, baby leaf, spinach and our Sunrich® sunflowers.
We are proud to present several of our new varieties; Fresh cabbage TCA-530, Storage cabbage TCA-581 and Commander (TCA-577), Flat cabbage TCA-548 as well as various new carrot and experimental cabbage varieties.
In the Takii Seed tent, we showcase our onion portfolio, early types like Medusa as well as our Rijnsburger types with excellent storage capabilities; Ruby Star, Novista and Bruce.
Naturally, we would also like to give you further information about our wide assortment of vegetable crops.
