Lecture ‘Smart diagnostics: Research in Seed Microbiome and Pathogen Detection‘
By Martin Verbeek en Iris Bergervoet
Wednesday, September 24 11.00-11:45
Language: English
How can we detect what is truly in a seed? In this talk, experts from Wageningen University & Research and Prime Diagnostics will showcase current and emerging technologies for detecting seed pathogens and microbiome research. From viral RNA integrity studies supporting interpretation of biological relevance of pathogen detection, to viability qPCR as an assessment tool for the survival of the coated microorganism used when exposing seeds to different treatments.
