Spectral imaging is a versatile and very powerful technology for a broad range of seed analysis tasks. It creates dramatic improvements over tradional color imaging by increasing the contrast between color traits with one or more orders of magnitude. In Videometer imaging systems spectral imaging is combined with a unique database tool for digital seeds incorporating highly flexible and intuitive machine learning and AI functionality. We will show how the lab, at-line, and on-line system VideometerLab works on a number of applications within seed analysis like appearance, purity, germination, vigor, treatment, and health. It will be possible to bring your own seeds and have them characterized by the VideometerLab.
