Lecture ‘Seed analysis/sorting using NIR Hyperspectral imaging’
By SeQso
Wednesday, September 25, 12:00-12:45
Speaker: Fred Hugen
Due to technological progress in NIR hyperspectral cameras, it is nowadays possible to capture live images with a complete NIR spectrum of hundreds of bands at each pixel.
This technology enables analyzing seeds based on their chemical composition (like oil content) and adds new capabilities in seed sorting applications.
SeQso applies this technology in the DataCollector machine for analyzing seeds and the FlexSorter Pro for sorting seeds.
In this presentation, we go on a journey to understand NIR hyperspectral imaging and its potential in seed sorting applications.
