Seed respiration is an important process in seed germination. With the Seed Respiration Analyzer (SRA) a large number of individual seeds can be measured simultaneously at different temperatures. The SRA test can be used for different purposes such as the determination of the basic quality (homogeneity) of a seed batch, determination of changes in seed properties after seed treatments, measurement of vigour related issues and parameter calculations in seed priming, etc. In the presentation examples of the use of the SRA and analysis of SRA data will be illustrated and discussed.
