Gautier Semences
The Gautier Semences company is located in Eyragues, in the heart of Provence, a historic region of French fruit and vegetable production.
Founded in 1952 by Jacques-Paul and Henri Gautier, the company is still run by the Gautier family.
Proud of its agricultural family heritage and faithful to its values, Gautier Semences has managed to preserve its independence.
For more than 60 years, the company has specialized in the breeding, production and marketing of vegetable seeds for professional growers.
Growing steadily since its creation, the company now operates internationally, both for breeding and marketing, through permanent investment in research, a large network of trial stations and a commercial presence in the field.
Its objective is to offer varietal innovations to improve vegetable production, meet the needs of retailers and offer consumers ever more diversity and flavours. Its breeding programmes concern a dozen of species: Lettuce, Tomato, Zucchini, Melon, Cauliflower, Radish, Beans and Eggplant.
Very early on, Gautier Semences chose to put its know-how at the service of organic farming and, in 1998, obtained ECOCERT certification for its entire seed production process, sorting, storage and packaging. Today, the company offers nearly 70 varieties of vegetables produced according to the specifications of Organic farming.
Thanks to strong innovation strategy, Gautier Semences is one of the professional players recognized at the international level.
